Appraisals

Access to the reports and the amount of information displayed depends upon an indi­vidual’s assigned security level. All reports may be viewed and printed, and may be cus­tomized by using the tools in the report wizard on each report’s main screen.  After you have defined the data for your selected report, it may also be exported into a Microsoft Word (.doc) or Excel (.csv) file. The following reports are available:

Accessing Reports

To run and view a report:

  1. From the main menu, click Reports, then click the category of report. Options are Appraisals, Company, Employee, Goal, and Other.
  2. Click on the title link of the report you wish to run.
  3. Read any instructions displayed pertaining to the report you have chosen.
  4. In the Select Options area of the screen, choose your options by clicking in the radio button beside the report options you wish to select. (The text and options on this screen will vary depending on the report you are running.)
  5. If required, establish your date range by entering dates in the Date Range field or by clicking on the calendar icon and making your selection.
  6. In the Results Per Page field enter the number of entries you would like to appear on the page.
  7. Click the Next button to further refine your report or the Save Report button if you would like to save the report so you can run the same report with the same filters at a later date.
  8. Continue refining your data by clicking the Next button and following the instructions displayed on the screen, or click Done to run your report.
  9. When you select Done, the report will display on the View tab.
  10. To rerun your report with different filters, simply click the Select tab and repeat the steps outlined above.
  11. Once you run a report it will appear in the Recently Executed Reports widget on the Appraisals, Company, Employee, Goal, and Other screens

Note:

To run the report at any time, simply select Done!  All selected employees and their data will be displayed.

To print a report:

  1. Run the report as described previously.
  2. When the report is displayed on the View tab, click the Print Preview button.
  3. The report will display in a separate browser window.
  4. Use your browser print function to print the report.
  5. If you would rather view and print the report from a .pdf format, click the PDF button instead of Print Preview and print through your PDF reader software.

To export a report:

  1. Run the report as described previously.
  2. When the report is displayed on the View tab, click the Export tab.
  3. Select the desired export format by clicking on it. Options are Export to CSV (comma delimited file – Excel file), and Export to Doc (Word document).
  4. To save the report to your computer, the File Download box will pop-up. Click Save and navigate to the directory to which you would like to save the file.
  5. Edit the desired file name in the File Name field if desired and click Save.
  6. To open the report, the Download Complete box will pop-up. Click Open to access the exported report.
  7. Depending on the internet browser you are using, your download process may be slightly different than the above steps.

To save a report:

  1. Run the report as described previously.
  2. At any point during the refining process, click the Save Report button.
  3. Enter a name for the report in the Name field that appears.
  4. Click Save to save it as named, or Cancel to return to the reports screen.
  5. The report will be listed in the Saved Reports widget on the Appraisals, Company, Employee, Goal, and Other screens.

To access a saved report:

  1. From the main menu, click Reports, then click the category of report. Options are Appraisals, Company, Employee, Goal, and Other.
  2. Saved reports will be accessed under Saved Reports.
  3. Click the report name to access the report.
