The Groups feature lets you give primary appraisers the ability to assign multi-appraisers to their own employees. Assigning Rights must be activated on the Appraisal Setup tab in order to create Groups.
To create a new Group:
- From the main menu, click System Setup, then click Multi-Appraiser Setup.
- Click the Groups tab.
- Click the Add New button.
- Enter the new Group name by clicking in the Name field and typing. (This field is mandatory.)
- To add Members to the Group, click the Add New button in the Members box. In the pop up box that appears, choose individual employee names by clicking on the Employee heading and clicking in the box beside the name. Click Select to choose the employee(s) you marked or Cancel to return to the Group Definition screen.
- To add entire Departments, Locations, or Divisions (if those are setup in your system) click on the appropriate header and select the desired company unit(s). This will add all multi-appraisers in the selected company unit(s) as Members in your Group. Click Select to choose the unit(s) you marked or Cancel to return to the Group Definition screen.
- Click Save on the toolbar.
- Repeat until all Members have been added.
To duplicate a Group:
- From the main menu, click System Setup, then click Multi-Appraiser Setup.
- Click the Groups tab.
- From the Available Groups dropdown list, click the down arrow and select the Group you wish to duplicate.
- Click the Duplicate button.
- The duplicated Group will be named “Group Name (Copy).” (For example, if you duplicate “Marketing,” the new Group will be named “Marketing (Copy).”)
- Click Save on the toolbar.
To rename a Group:
- From the main menu, click System Setup, then click Multi-Appraiser Setup.
- Click the Groups tab.
- From the Available Groups dropdown list, click the down arrow and select the Group you wish to rename.
- Edit the Group name by clicking in the Name field and typing.
- Click Save on the toolbar.
To delete a Group:
- From the main menu, click System Setup, then click Multi-Appraiser Setup.
- Click the Groups tab.
- From the Available Groups dropdown list, click the down arrow and select the Group you wish to delete.
- Click the Delete button.
- A warning message appears. Click Yes to confirm the delete, or Cancel to return to the Groups screen.
To assign a Group:
- From the main menu, click System Setup, then click Multi-Appraiser Setup.
- Click the Groups tab.
- Click Assign Groups.
- From the Available Groups dropdown list, click the down arrow and select the Group you wish to assign.
- The Appraisers box on the left contains a list of all primary appraisers who have not been assigned to this Group. If you would like to view only those primary appraisers who have NO Group, click the Appraisers With No Group radio button. The Currently Assigned To This Group box on the right contains a list of primary appraisers who have ALREADY been assigned to this Group.
- From the Appraisers list, select the primary appraiser you wish to assign to the Group by clicking on the name once.
- Click the single right arrow button to move the primary appraiser to the Currently Assigned To This Group list.
Note:
If you click the double right arrow it will move the entire Appraisers list to the Currently Assigned To This Group list.
- Click Save on the toolbar.
Warning!
If a Group is deleted, any primary appraisers assigned to the Group would no longer be able to make multi-appraiser selections from the members of the Group for their employees.
